Fontifier is a Web-based service (from the U.K.) where you use a very simple seven step process from scanning and installing your own personalized handwriting font.  This will allow you to create a font with up to 99 characters, numbers and symbols.  The best part is that the system will allow you to preview your completed font before you have to pay for it.  If you like it, it will only cost you $9 to download and install it into your computer for unlimited use.
