Solar dreams...Imagine having a dream to do something great but not having a clue on how you are going to achieve it.  A common human condition you might say, everybody has dreams but so few ever realize them.

Marcelo da Luz, a flight attendant with Air Canada had a dream to build a solar car.  Because he had no background or experience in engineering or mechanics, self doubts started creeping in (mine would have been screaming!). During an interview he said “I thought, ‘You don’t have any money, you don’t have any resources, forget it, you’re a nobody.’ I felt alone and powerless to do anything,”

Yet his dream burned so powerfully inside him that he moved forward anyway, essentially making it up as he went along.  However, his passion was contagious and using the Internet he found help and volunteers from people in 23 different countries.  After three years and countless hours of dedicated work in his garage his dream was built.  Then he set out to show the world that solar powered vehicles can work even in the Arctic Circle.  Starting out on June 18, 2008 from Buffalo, NY and with no sponsors and little money he, his team of volunteers and his solar car made it to the Arctic Circle and back for a total distance of over 9,700 miles.  No experience, no money, no way —yet he did it, all because his dream was powerful enough to keep moving him forward.

So what does this have to do with selling more real estate?  Well, ask yourself this, what is your “Big Dream” that you have moving you forward?  So many are afraid to dream big because it might not happen which of course automatically seals its fate.  What would your business and life look like if you dared to dream big and had a passion burning so hot that nothing could stop you…

With a strong enough “Why”, the “How” will reveal itself.

We are all here on this planet for such a short period of time.  Why live with the quiet frustration of what “could be” when we have the choice and yes, the power, to live fully in the moment consumed by something much bigger than ourselves.  Mediocrity is a choice, so is greatness.
