how do i get my face book name Bay Realty & Homer Alaska Real Estate to be that instead of the long facebook numbers and name….

Without a doubt, Doug's Fan Page has a broader range of interest from people all over the world and clearly most of those people will never become clients. However, that kind of coverage does wonders for him as being THE expert of architecturally significant modern homes.

As to how you could generate enthusiastic participation (if not raw numbers) in your own targeted fan base, consider having it as being the portal for discussion about whatever the theme happens to be. Think of you fan base as a growing group of people that share the same passion, etc. with you being the facilitator and cheerleader…

That is a great case study for success utilizing new tech tools available to all of us! So, how can I/we duplicate this in our “small” pocket of the world? Modern architecture/homes appeal to loads of people outside of Doug's market area I presume…is this translating into increases in actual sales/transactions in his market area? If we are trying to grow our base within our market, shoud we take a similar, more “local” approach… ie, only condos, only single family homes, only golf communities??? Just wondering how “exciting” that would be to most folks and if that would result in such a large number of FANS like Doug's….. ideas, suggestions? Much appreciated!!Thanks!
